- The Assistant Division Administrator shares responsibility with the Division Administrator who is the principal representative of the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) for the administering the Federal-aid highway program in the state of Idaho. This includes providing guidance to the State and local official in the identification of transportation needs and related priorities which when implemented enhances out national transportation programs. In the absence of the Division Administrator the Assistant Division Administrator assumes the duties and responsibilities of the Division Administrator for administering the Federal aid program. The Assistant Division Administrator also sets office direction and assigns work to accomplish the activities identified in the Idaho Division office plan which is aligned to the National Strategic Plan as well as FHWA's Vital Few initiatives.
