DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF CURRENT POSITION
Administer the Federal-aid highway program with respect to bridge and other structures in the State of Florida. Monitor and oversee the National Bridge Inspection Program, the Highway Bridge Replacement and Rehabilitation Program, and the Innovative Bridge Research and Construction Program in Florida. Act as senior office advisor on all technical matters related to structures, geotechnical and hydraulic issues. Oversight responsibilities for bridge design and construction on the Interstate Highway System.

- Participant on 1999 FHWA Bridge Durability Scan in Europe on concrete segmental & cable stayed bridges
- Intimate involvement in initial precast segmental bridge projects in the States of Michigan and Illinois. Intimate involvement with concrete segmental bridge policies, projects and specifications in Florida since construction of Skyway bridge through today.
