TITLE: Nationwide Programmatic Agreement among the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), the National Conference of State Historic Preservation Officers (National Conference of SHPOS), and the Advisory Council on Historic Preservation (ACHP), for Implementation of Transportation Enhancement Activities
SUBJECT: Transportation enhancements programmatic agreement.

PURPOSE OF THE AGREEMENT: To reduce the time spent by State DOTs in project review, consultation, and processing of transportation enhancement activities. This agreement encourages local coordination and public participation in processing transportation enhancement activities to reduce the processing time for projects.
