Statewide responsibility in the field of structures construction for development and review of construction specifications, procedures and practices; development and presentation of construction and quality assurance/control training to all levels of District Construction staff; development and maintenance of a structures construction website; resolution of construction related problems at ongoing projects; arranging for the demonstration and introduction of new and improved construction methods and materials; and development and maintenance of Statewide Inspection Guidelists. Additional duties include development of construction quality assurance/control procedures.

- FDOT Design and Construction Manager of the Acosta Bridge Replacement project in Jacksonville, Fla. This concrete cast-in-place segmental box girder bridge has the longest main span in the Southeastern US at 630 feet.
- Oversight responsibility for the construction of the following major segmental bridges in Florida: 17th Street Causeway (Ft.
