Accelerated Bridge Construction Example Bridges

Accelerated Bridge Construction (ABC) uses innovative planning, design, materials, and methods to reduce the onsite construction time that occurs when building new bridges or replacing and rehabilitating existing bridges. Partial lane closures and other bridge activities adjacent traffic can also lead to safety issues, traffic disruptions and have significant economic impact on local commercial and industrial activities.
