Initial Web Site Release
Until now, the Systems Engineering Guidebook for ITS was only available on-line as a PDF document. This web site hyperlinks and structures the Guidebook content to make it easier to find the information that you need. This web site includes many features that should enhance your ability to find systems engineering information quickly and easily.
- The standard menu bar is included on every page that provides quick "one click" access to all the key document views and foundational information like a glossary and resources.
- Navigation aides like the "breadcrumb" hyperlinks above help you keep track of where you are in the web site. For example, the breadcrumb above shows that you went from the Home page to the What's New page to this page on the Initial Web Site release.
- Different views of the Guidebook provide access to systems engineering information based on roles, process steps, and deliverables, to name a few. This allows you to find the information you need, whether you are looking for information about a particular process step, a particular deliverable, or need to use systems engineering to fulfill a particular role in a project.
- The PDF document is still available (as one of the views) for those who like a more traditional document format or anyone who wants a printed copy.
The Version 2.0 web site also includes the following features:
Library of Systems Engineering Examples
A library of systems engineering examples is now available.
Guidebook Version 2.0
