About UsProject Delivery - Safety and Mobility - Administration - Planning and Right of Way - Environment - Infrastructure & Technology - Finance Project Delivery TeamThe Field Operations Team has the primary responsibility for delivery of the Federal-aid projects. Involvement by the Program Delivery Team is based on thresholds identified in the stewardship plans between the FHWA DelMar Division, MSHA and DelDOT. The Team performs design reviews of Federal-aid projects to assure that appropriate standards and contractual requirements are met. In addition, the team performs field reviews during construction to ensure that the plans and specifications are followed and evaluates and approves actions on construction issues, extra work and change orders. Final inspections are performed to ensure the quality of the completed project and quantity of material and other construction items are properly documented. Team also leads Division's process review program.
