Unprecedented rainfall caused Lake Delton to rise and erode a breach through a low-lying section of the lakeshore and a segment of State Trunk Highway A, interrupting the service of this critical transportation and utility corridor. The restoration project was "a masterpiece of collaboration" that demonstrates how public and private partnerships can deliver amazing results.
