The Beach Lake Mitigation Bank is located on a 142-acre parcel in the Stone Lake National Wildlife Refuge. A total of 90 acres of wetland and riparian woodland have been restored to provide mitigation credits for small wetland and riparian impacts on future transportation projects. This results in shortened time frames for project specific mitigation, and the elimination of individual piecemeal mitigation construction and monitoring.
