This project conveys the history of a major natural event that helped shape the history of Anchorage and of Alaska. The effects of the 1964 quake are intimately visible at this location. A multi-disciplined team designed a pedestrian experience that showcases the "calm to chaos" character of the earth's transformation during the quake.
