The Durability Estimation software has been developed to assist the engineer in culvert material selection. It uses computerized versions of existing methods to estimate the durability of a culvert. The durability prediction methods include those developed by Caltrans, AISI, NCSPA, and New York. The user should be familiar with the advantages and disadvantages of the various techniques. These methods are briefly described in the Durability Analysis of Aluminized Type 2 Corrugated Metal Pipe report.
