J. Sterling Jones Hydraulics Research Laboratory PersonnelLaboratory ManagerKornel Kerenyi Kornel Kerenyi is a hydraulics research engineer in the Federal Highway Administration's (FHWA) Office of Infrastructure Research and Development. He coordinates hydraulic and hydrological research activities with State and local agencies, academia, and various partners and customers, and manages the FHWA Turner-Fairbank Highway Research Center (TFHRC) J. Sterling Jones Hydraulics Research Laboratory. He was previously a research engineer at a private company and supervised support staff in the Hydraulics Lab. Dr. Kerenyi holds a Ph.D. in fluid mechanics and hydraulic steel structures from the Vienna University of Technology in Austria.
