HY8 Culvert Analysis version 6.2 (Archived)

Culvert Analysis automates the design methods described in FHWA publications HDS-5, "Hydraulic Design of Highway Culverts," HEC-14, "Hydraulic Design of Energy Dissipators for Culverts and Channels," and HEC-19, "Hydrology."

Minimum requirements: IBM PC or compatible, DOS 2.1 or higher

Downloading Note: After unzipping files to a subdirectory, run HY8.exe and select <P> to review default settings and adjust path settings for data and dat files. The *.dat files are the shape files for culverts with irregular geometry.

HY8InpGen (Version 4.01) - Input File Generator for HY8 version 6.2 (Archived)
HY8PCViewer (Version 3.3) - Output File Viewer for HY8 version 6.2 (Archived)

HY8InpGen is Windows 95/NT4 software for building an input file for the DOS version of HY8. The software will also run the Balance.exe module of HY8 to produce an output file with a "PC" extension.

PCViewer is a Windows 98/NT software for viewing the output file for the DOS version of HY8.

Minimum requirements: IBM PC or compatible, Windows 95/NT4 or higher.

Installation: Unzip the downloaded file to the HY8 directory and copy the dat files to your directory with the HY8 dat files.
