6. Edit Existing Project Information
To edit project information, select the Edit Existing Project option from the Entry tab. When selecting this option, a project search form appears, allowing you to select projects based on the criteria entered. Once the search criteria are entered, click the Get Projects button.

A screen with the search results will appear. In this example, the search criteria were "2000" and "California."
To select one project from the list, click on the CMAQ Project ID link in the left column. Once you click on the project, the Edit Project Data screen will appear with options to edit project information and to re-save.

Data that has been saved for later editing can be edited. Similarly, data that has been submitted for approval can also be edited. However, once it has been approved at your level (MPO, State or Division) and thus made ready for review and approval at a higher level, editing the data will require sending it through the review process and approval process again, as discussed below in the section on Approving project data.
