Honorable Mention For Excellence in Habitat, Water Quality, and Wetland Preservation

California Department of Transportation, District 4, Santa Clara County Traffic Authority, H. T. Harvey and Associates, and Orsee Design Associates

This collaboration coordinated the revegetation of a 9.8-hectare (24.5-acre) site adjacent to Coyote Creek at the connection of Routes 101 and 85 in Santa Clara County. The site serves to increase habitat for local wildlife populations and replace wetland and riparian plant communities impacted by roadway improvements.
