Last Minute Reminder

The annual deadline for the Photo Opportunity competition is fast approaching. Remember that file photos are also eligible for this event. Except in the frost belt, some of you can still capture fall wildflowers and grasses in plantings, preservations, mitigations, restorations, etc. The competition rules were explained in the spring issue of Greener Roadsides. The rules can also be found on our website: www.fhwa.dot.gov/roadsides. NEW this year, the invasive species category. You may also show through your photography, how invasive species are being prevented, controlled, monitored, or researched. The deadline is November 5.
