23 CFR 772: Procedures for Abatement of Highway Traffic Noise and Construction Noise, requires the identification of noise impacts, consideration of noise abatement and the construction of feasible and reasonable noise abatement for humans. However, the impact of noise to wildlife is also a concern. The information on this page will redirect you to the lead program office that deals with noise effects on wildlife and any provided guidance.
