There are currently three files for Version Update 1.0a on the FHWA Traffic Noise Model (TNM) website:
As some TNM users have experienced, TNM V1.0 produces floating point errors for certain case runs. The new executable, TNM Version 1.0a, will correct these errors for the most common floating point error bug. To use Version 1.0a, first rename the new TNM1_0A.EXE file to TNM.EXE, then replace the existing TNM.EXE file located in your TNM/PROGRAM directory with the new executable file.
In addition, the developer of NMPlot has recently released a new DOS version of NMPLOT, Version 3.06. The previous version was having difficulties running on very fast computers (typically faster than 200 MHz) giving some users a runtime error message. The new executable, NMPlot Version 3.06, will correct this error. To use Version 3.06, replace the existing NMPLOTX.EXE file located in your TNM/PROGRAM/NMPLOT directory with the new executable file.
