1On February 3, 2006 (71 FR 5791), EPA approved a NOx waiver for Northern Maine (specifically, Oxford, Franklin, Somerset, Piscataquis, Penobscot, Washington, Aroostook, and portions of Hancock and Waldo Counties). This approval exempts major sources of NOx in this area from the requirements to implement controls meeting RACT.
