Geofreight Intermodal Freight Display Tool, USDOT

This new 2-CD set presents a tool that uses a routing model to assign data on freight flows to various components of the transportation network. The tool is a prototype that serves two purposes: to graphically display geographic relationships between freight movements and infrastructure; and to assist freight policymakers and planners in identifying the flows of domestic and international freight across the nation and in assessing the current and potential major freight bottlenecks in the U.S. transportation system.

Minimum Computer Requirements:

  • Windows 95 or above and NT 4.0 or above
  • Pentium 100 MHz or higher (133+ recommended)
  • 32 MB of RAM recommended
  • A hard disk with 100 MB of available disk space
  • 800 x 600 or higher SVGA screen resolution
  • CD-ROM drive
