Register: Talking Freight Seminars

Registration is open for the November & December 2009 Talking Freight Seminars.

These monthly FHWA-sponsoed net-conference seminars provide a convenient and no-cost way for transportation practitioners to broaden their freight knowledge base and develop new skills to help them do their jobs better. Recorded sessions of previous seminars are also available on the Talking Freight link. A one-time, easily downloadable plug-in is required for first-time users, and is available at time of registration.

Closed Captioning is available for the Talking Freight Seminars, as well as for the archived Sessions through a separate web site from the Talking Freight web site. You will need to have the captioning browser window opened in addition to the Talking Freight presentation window. For closed captioning access at the time of a seminar, please follow the directions included in the login instructions that you receive the day prior to the seminar.

Talking Freight seminars are eligible for 1.5 AICP Certification Maintenance Credits. In order to receive credit, you must attend the full seminar and login to the seminar with your full name or type your full name into the chat area during the seminar if you are in a room with a group of people. Visit the AICP web site for more information about AICP Certification Maintenance Credits.

If you'd like to be notified about upcoming seminars, or read about past seminars, please join the Freight Planning LISTSERV.
