The Second Annual Golden Torch Awards Ceremony will take place on March 26, 1999, at 7:00 p.m., in the H. Roe Bartle Hall and Convention Center in Kansas City, Missouri. In addition to applauding the accomplishments of so many well-deserving scientists and engineers, the black tie affair is a scholarship fundraiser. Through the financial support of corporations and individuals, pre-college scholarships will be made available to bright and ambitious high school students. Seating for the event costs $100 per seat and $1,000 per table (10 seats).
