What is a Logo?

A logo is a name, symbol, or trademark designed for easy and definite recognition. This manual will help your organization understand the proper use of the America's Byways® logo and will support the branding of the America's Byways collection.

The America's Byways logo should be used whenever possible to help build consistency, recognition and pride for the collection of distinct and diverse roads designated by the U.S. Secretary of Transportation. Use your best judgment, and be considerate of your audience when determining whether or not to include the America's Byways logo. You worked hard to be designated as one of America's Byways, so you should use the logo with pride.

Remember, the America's Byways logo is to be used ONLY to indicate the USDOT collection of nationally designated Byways. The logo cannot be used to indicate other State and Federally designated byways.
