2010 FHWA Bridge Engineering Conference: Highways for LIFE and Accelerated Bridge Construction in Orlando, Florida on April 8 and 9, 2010

The conference will be held at the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress. The conference is co–sponsored by: Alabama DOT, California DOT, Colorado DOT, Tennessee DOT, Florida DOT, Illinois DOT, Iowa DOT, Pennsylvania DOT, Louisiana DOT, Maryland DOT, Missouri DOT, Washington DOT, Montana DOT, Nebraska DOR, North Carolina DOT, Oregon DOT, Texas DOT, Utah DOT and Virginia DOT

The audience will include 500–600 public sector bridge employees, including FHWA, design professionals, fabricators, contractors, academia and representatives of federal and local public agencies from across the United States and most probably several foreign countries. The Conference is an ideal forum for sharing the latest advancements in bridge engineering with DOT bridge engineers and owners. Conference topics will mainly include best practices of accelerated bridge construction, safety, quality, high performance for steel, concrete, fiber–reinforced polymer (FRP) composite and timber bridges.
