Towing and Recovery Service Partnerships

Thursday, September 19, 2013
2:30 – 4:00 pm Eastern

This webinar will discuss Towing and Recovery Service Partnerships (TRSP) which allow public and private partners to work together to expedite clearance of incidents where large trucks are involved through the establishment of protocols, clearance time targets, and training to ensure that the right responders, tow equipment and operators are on the scene quickly to safely restore traffic flow after an incident.

Towing and Recovery Services Partnerships are already at work in several states and have been shown to effectively reduce the length of time and the severity of incident-related traffic congestion.  Each partnership means motorists and responders are safer and the likelihood of secondary accidents is reduced, increasing safety and mobility for all. TRSPs are customizable to the needs, laws, and practices of each region or agency.  Information about TRSP’s can be found here.

This webinar will highlight three unique programs and demonstrate how they are all successful in providing time savings in major incident clearance.
