| Oversees metropolitan planning and applicable air quality activities in the Beloit, Champaign, Danville, Dubuque, Peoria, Rockford, Rock Island, and St. Louis metropolitan areas. Also is responsible for various highway information and statewide planning programs such as the Statewide Transportation Improvement Program (STIP), Highway Performance Monitoring System (HPMS), Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality (CMAQ) reporting, highway statistics, functional classification and traffic monitoring. | |
