The Results module allows you to generate reports on the results of program simulations, including work, total program needs, performance measures and preservation needs for any scenario or work program.
In this lesson, you will learn to generate and view reports.
Work and Needs
Generate a bar chart and table showing the total needs and benefits identified by the scenario.
Navigate to the Results module.
Select the Scenarios radio button at the top, and select the Default scenario.
From the Report Type drop-down list, select Work & Needs.
For the Start Year, enter 2003.
For the End Year, enter 2007.
Click Generate. A new report tab showing the results of the Default scenario will be added. Note that the results show a downward trend of needs for the simulation period.
Performance Measures
Generate a series of charts and graphs indicating predicted performance over time.
Click the Specifications tab in the Results module.
With the Default scenario still highlighted, select Performance Measures from the Report Type drop-down list.
From the Performance Measures drop-down list, select Health Index.
From the Filter drop-down list, select No Filter.
For the Start Year, enter 2003.
For the End Year, enter 2007.
Click Generate. A second report tab will be added.
Tip:
After Step 7: Additional performance measures such as ADT, SD/FO, HBRR Eligibility, etc. can be generated by picking them from the Performance Measures drop-down.
Preservation Needs
Generate charts and tables representing needs and programmed work over time for individual elements and element categories, materials and types.
Navigate to the Specifications tab in the Results module.
With the Default scenario still highlighted, select Preservation Work & Needs from the Report Type drop-down.
From the Filter drop-down list, select Element Category.
From the Value drop-down list, select Decks/Slabs.
For the Start Year, enter 2003.
For the End Year, enter 2007.
Click Generate. A new report tab will be added. Note that all needs were met by the available budget.
In this lesson, you learned to generate and view reports for simulation results.
