Refining Simulation Results with Business Practice Rules
Within Pontis there are several methods that can be used to refine simulation results to more closely match an agency's business processes and policies. The primary goal of this refinement is to generate work candidates that can be directly converted to projects.
In this lesson, you will learn to Add, Modify and Delete Agency Policy Rules, to help refine results.
Add and Modify an Agency Policy Rule

In the Programming module, click the Rules Module Tools button.
In the Rules window, click the Agency Policy tab.
From the Agency Policy Set drop-down list, click Default Agency Pol Set.
Click Edit. The Existing Agency Policy Sets screen will appear.
Click New Copy. This creates a new set of rules based on the currently selected set.

Click Save and then Close. The screen will now show the current rule set for the Agency Policy.
Click OK to return to the Programming Module desktop.
