A short distance away, you read another protester's signboard: LIVE BY THE BOMB, DIE BY THE BOMB. Still another protester stands by a sign that is hard to argue with: WANTED: WISDOM AND HONESTY.

Because Pennsylvania Avenue is being reconstructed in front of the White House, protesters moved their signs to the center of Lafayette Square in front of the statue of General Andrew Jackson who was President from 1829-1837.
