  1. What is the purpose of this Notice?

    1. This Notice serves to advise that the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) has made a decision concerning the suspension of the individual named below as stated in paragraph 2.

    2. This Notice, along with FHWA Notices N 2000.608, N 2000.609, and N 2000.611, cancel FHWA N 2000.548, issued on April 6, 2006.

  2. What action has been taken?

    1. On March 10, 2006, Mark Lalla was suspended by FHWA for the duration of his legal proceedings. The legal proceedings ended with his acquittal on March 12, 2007.

    2. Since Mark Lalla's legal proceedings have concluded, and he was found not guilty, FHWA is terminating his suspension effective on March 12, 2007.

    3. This decision has been made in accordance with 49 CFR Part 29.
