  1. What is the purpose of this change? The purpose of this change is to document the establishment of the Office of Corporate Research and Technology, a staff office within the immediate office of the Associate Administrator for Research, Development, and Technology. This new office serves as the focal point for communicating and facilitating corporate research and technology (R&T) initiatives and the Office of Research, Development, and Technology's products and services across the Agency. The Office of Corporate Research and Technology supports the FHWA R&T Leadership Team's efforts to ensure a corporate approach to R&T and the implementation of the Corporate Master Plan for Research and Deployment of Technology and Innovation (CMP).

    This change also provides mission and function statements for the Office of Resource Management, a previously established office within the Office of Research, Development, and Technology. This office provides administrative advice and support to offices within the Office of Research, Development, and Technology.

    1. Table of Contents, and

    2. Part II (Organization and Functions), Chapter 13 (Office of Research, Development, and Technology).
