What is the purpose of this transmittal? This transmittal revises Part 1, Chapter 1, Section 1 (Personnel Actions) of the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) Personnel Management Manual (PMM).
What are the changes? This chapter has been revised to update the information regarding personnel actions in accordance with Office of Personnel Management (OPM) regulations. The Internet links were added to the reference sections. Changes were made to some of the office titles. Definitions and source document information were added and minor changes are included throughout the section.
