This is a new position created in the Division to provide leadership in key high-risk areas. In addition, the position serves an advisory role to the Division Administrator in emerging special emphasis areas, such as stewardship and oversight, global connectivity, international border crossings, project management, cost estimating and SAFETEA-LU implementation initiatives. Additionaly, this position provides for a coordinated approach to management of the traditional bridge program.
