Chapter 6 - Generating Reports

Objective: Become familiar with the report wizard for the PHT tool.

Specifics: The PHT tool provides a report wizard to quickly visualize the PHT analysis results.

Use: The report wizard provides a library of predefined report templates and options to quickly create a variety of charts based on a PHT analysis.

Tasks:

  1. Launch the Report Wizard and select the options to create a report.
  2. Browse and view the charts created by the wizard and managed by the Study.
  3. Print a report or copy it to the windows clipboard.

Two screen shots show progressive stages of an analysis. In the first screen shot, under the PHT Results tab the PHT Results folder is selected and the button icon for the generate report command is highlighted by the number 1, indicating that this operation will activate the report wizard. In the second screen shot, the field for report title is selected and the menu option Select a PHT Analysis is highlighted by the number 2, indicating that the results selected here form the basis for the report. The button icon for the continue command is highlighted by the number 3, indicating that this command will continue the operation.

A button icon for the generate command is highlighted by the number 7, indicating that this command will generate a report. In the third screen shot, a chart window displays the data in the form of a bar chart.

A screen shot shows the next stage of a report generation. A button icon for the print command is highlighted by the number 8, indicating that this command will generate a print command menu. A pop up window provides parameters for printing the chart. A screen shot shows the study screen. On the left side of the window, a button icon for the charts command is selected and highlighted by the number 9, indicating that this command presents a list of charts associated with the study.
