Figure 1 shows monthly average daily traffic for one federal monitoring station in Hampden County, MA (the county of the ACS test site data of this analysis). There is some variability from month to month, but the adjacent points seem correlated, and there is a distinct seasonal pattern: volumes for the first half of the year are low (with a large "drop" in January) and volumes rise until they "peak" in August, September and October.
