The Census Bureau has created several options for viewing the boundaries of urbanized areas and urban clusters. The Census Bureau's Map Products web site provides large-scale maps (30" x 33") in Adobe pdf format that can be downloaded and printed to a large format color plotter. The Census Bureau's American FactFinder web site includes an interactive geographic information system (GIS) that allows users to navigate to a specific location and display the urban boundaries in relation to other geographic features.
For those users with access to GIS software, the Census Bureau has also created geo-spatial databases for all of its geographic boundaries. These databases are derived from the Census TIGER/Line geographic database and can be downloaded directly from the Census Bureau web site.
