A regional public transportation mode share map for the Northeast Corridor between New York City's Tri-State Region and the Washington, D.C., area. This map is showing counties with highest public transportation share increases between the year 2000 and years 2006-2010. CTPP2000 public transit share, ACS2006-2010 public transit share and percent share change are displayed. Among top 30 counties for public transportation mode share percentage, 18 counties are located in the Northeast region and are on this map.

As seen in the regional transit map, the public transportation mode share for Monroe County, Pennsylvania, shows a public transportation mode share in 2000 of 3.3%, which increases in 2006-2010 ACS data to 5.0%, an increment of 1.7%. The public transportation mode share for Bergen County, New Jersey, shows a public transportation mode share in 2000 of 10.8%, which increases in 2006-2010 ACS data to 13.1%, an increment of 2.3%.
