A regional public transportation mode share map for the New York City's Tri-State Region. This map is showing counties with highest public transportation share increases between the year 2000 and years 2006-2010. CTPP2000 public transit share, ACS2006-2010 public transit share and percent share change are displayed. Among top 30 counties for public transportation, 8 counties are located around New York City and are on this map.

As seen in the regional transit map, the public transportation mode share for Monroe County, Pennsylvania, shows a public transportation mode share in 2000 of 3.3%, which increases in 2006-2010 ACS data to 5.0%, an increment of 1.7%. The public transportation mode share for Bergen County, New Jersey, shows a public transportation mode share in 2000 of 10.8%, which increases in 2006-2010 ACS data to 13.1%, an increment of 2.3%.

The public transportation mode share for Essex County, New Jersey, shows a public transportation mode share in 2000 of 18.2%, which increases in 2006-2010 ACS data to 19.7%, an increment of 1.5%. The public transportation mode share for Hudson County, New Jersey, shows a public transportation mode share in 2000 of 33.2%, which increases in 2006-2010 ACS data to 38.7%, an increment of 5.5%.
