Planning

'After' shot taken in the fall of 2001 showing the Port of Tacoma Road overcrossing. The project included a new interchange with State Route 509 for improved access to north- and southbound SR 509. The new overpass carries port traffic over SR 509 and mainline railroad tracks, eliminating an at-grade crossing, improving safety and access to railroad terminals and the port.
