Trip Purpose
Exhibit 14-6 is a pie chart that shows the distribution of transit trip purpose. 50 percent use transit to get to and from work; 14 percent use it for social, church, or personal business; 13 percent use it for shopping; 7 percent use it for 7 percent use it for "other school"; 7 percent use it for "other" purposes; 5 percent use it for college; and 4 percent use it to access medical services.
