Work Trips as a Percentage of Total Trips
Exhibit 14-7 is a bar graph that shows work trips as a percentage of total transit trips. The vertical axis measures percentages from 0 to 60 in increments of 10 percent. The horizontal axis has three bars, one for each urban area size. For small urban areas, 41 percent use transit for work. For medium urban areas, 48 percent use transit for work. And for large urban areas, 56 percent use transit for work.
