Exhibit 19-17:

Alternative Fuel Investments, 1999-2001

Exhibit 19-17

Exhibit 19-17 is a bar graph that shows alternative fuel investments from 1999 to 2001. The vertical axis measures both number of vehicles and investment in millions of dollars, from 0 to 5,000 in increments of 500. The horizontal axis has three bars with two parts each. In the first, for CNG, alternative fuel vehicles were 4,250 and investment was $1,200 million. In the second, for LNG, alternative fuel vehicles were 1,000 and investment was $250 million. And in the third grouping, for hydrogen, methanol, and propane, alternative fuel vehicles were not quite 100 and investment was less than $50 million.
