Acceptable Urbanized Area Pavement
Exhibit 3-9 is a bar graph that shows acceptable urbanized area pavement by percentages. The vertical axis measures percentages from 0 to 100 in increments of 10 percent. The horizontal axis has five bars, one each for the years 1993, 1995, 1997, 1999, and 2000. In 1993, 82.4 percent of pavement was judged acceptable (no percentage is given for pavements regarded as "good"). In 1995, 81.7 percent of pavement was judged acceptable and 39.4 percent was regarded as good. In 1997, 81.4 percent of pavement was judged acceptable and 38.5 percent was regarded as good. In 1999, 77.2 percent of pavement was judged acceptable and 32.1 percent was regarded as good. And in 2000, 76.6 percent of pavement was judged acceptable and 33.1 percent was regarded as good.
