IRI Data Reporting Requirements:
- All Interstate sections
- All Freeway and Other Principal Arterial sections
- All rural minor arterial sample sections
- All NHS sections
- All STRAHNET sections

Updating HPMS IRI
- Equal IRI values over time
- Matched sample analysis: 1) Programmatically matches sections over time, and 2) Conservative estimate of severity
- GIS analysis: 1) Map-based matching of sections over time 2) Utilizes NHPN GIS files with HPMS data, and 3) Closer estimate of severity
Updating HPMS IRI
- Equal IRI values over time (Data not being collected/reported)
- Data collected but not reported (Translation error/technical difficulties)
- Requires communication and action to resolve
