Adjustment applies when prices indices are outside of 85% to 115% of bid price; adjustment is made by formula, by type of fuel. Contractor, in their bid proposal must declare if contract will or will not include Fuel Adjustment. Starting in our October 2005, material cost adjustments will be proposed for corrugated metal pipes, reinforced concrete pipes, geotextiles, geogrid, paving fabric, wood fence posts, fence wire, seed and mulch.
