UDOT may request the Contractor submit a bid on the entire project or a portion of the project such as early action items or long-lead items

  1. CMGC project selected from approved program
  2. Design-phase
  3. a. Acquire Designer (8-10 weeks)
    b. Select contractor (14-16 weeks)
  4. Kickoff Meeting and Partnering Training (Scheduling, Risk Analysis, Cost Modeling, Roles and Responsibilities, Decision Analysis and Resolution)
  5. Timeline and Milestone meeting
  6. Begin advertisement checklist development
  7. Concurrent Development of Advertising checklist completed 2 weeks prior to bid opening (Multiple measurement and payment meetings)
  8. Perform blind bid openings (See Module E)
  9. Final measurements and payments meeting ; allow 1 week for ICE Estimation
  10. Go to bid
  11. UDOT, Deisgn and contractor Develop phasing and cost model - 2 weeks
  12. Multiple phases
  13. Region recommends multiple phases to Project Development
  14. Erosion and Sediment
  15. Right-of-way
  16. Design and Contractor Design to Cost model

  18. Reduce risk, re-design, re-scope
