Accelerating Infrastructure Innovations

Publication Number: FHWA-RD-00-062
Date: October 2000

In Brief

FHWA's portland cement concrete pavement (PCCP) Web site (www.tfhrc.gov/pavement/pccp/pccp.htm) is your one-stop shop for the latest on the agency's PCC pavement research. The program's studies are systematically investigating various aspects of PCC material properties and behaviors, including pavement specifications, construction, repair, and rehabilitation, in order to enhance the construction and performance of concrete pavements in the field. Included on the Web site is information on topics ranging from the basics of high-performance concrete to the best concrete materials and mix designs to use to assure durable pavements. The site is currently undergoing an update and expansion, with additional information available soon on the PCCP team workplan and current team projects, as well as a description of the team laboratories and a list of relevant publications.

For more information on the PCCP pavement program, contact Steve Forster at FHWA, 202-493-3070 (fax: 202-493-3161; email: steve.forster@fhwa.dot.gov).
