Control of Snow and Ice Showcase Workshop

The workshop will provide a thorough evaluation of SHRP-developed products for snow and ice control, such as snowplows, snow fences, road weather information systems, anti-icing strategies, and methods for evaluating deicing chemicals.

Alkali-Silica Reactivity (ASR) Showcase Workshop

This showcase workshop is designed to give participants hands-on training in identifying and mitigating the effects of ASR-induced deterioration in portland cement concrete. The workshop includes lectures, demonstrations, and a field trip and covers such topics as how to test for ASR in the field and how to avoid ASR in new construction.
