Pavement Distress Identification & Techniques for Rehabilitation and Design

April 28-May 8, 1997, Reno, Nevada

Sponsored by the National Highway Institute (NHI), this course will cover pavement design, quality control, distress identification, and rehabilitation. Techniques discussed will include the Superpave asphalt mixture design system. Participants will also visit the University of Nevada's Superpave Lab Center and the state-of-the-art WesTrack testing facility. Training materials will include the long-term pavement performance program's Pavement Distress Identification Manual.
