User Guidelines for Waste and Byproduct Materials in Pavement Construction

Back to Beginning ]

About this Document

The User Guidelines for Waste and Byproduct Material in Pavement Construction started as a normal hard copy manual. Then through the perserverance of Special Engineering Projects Division Chief Roy Trent, the dedication of COTR Marcia Simon, and considerable push from the Communication Services Group, the electronic reference version came to be. Like any piece of software the Guidelines have some functionality which improve the quality of viewing. The following are the minimal specifications under which the Guidelines were created:

  • Minimum Required Browser Version: 3.0
  • Minimal Computer Specifications: 486 DX2 with 8 megs of RAM
  • Preferred Computer Specifications: Pentium 90 with 8 megs of RAM
  • CD-ROM Drive (for CD version)
  • 14.4 modem connection for Internet Version
  • 800 x 600 Color Monitor Display Resolution - smaller resolutions work, but some tabular material may fall out of alignment
  • Color Display should be set to 256 colors

I hope you find version 1.0 of the Guidelines a useful tool. If you have any comments please contact us via the e-mail link.
